BeGreen Sweden - the best of two worlds!
BeGreen Sweden was established by the end of 2022, but the first solar park in Denmark was up and running in 2015. We were founded by one of Denmark’s largest forestry and agricultural companies, but are today a wholly owned subsidiary of Equinor, which is an international energy company. BeGreen is one of Scandinavia’s most experienced developers of large-scale solar parks.
At BeGreen Sweden, you get the opportunity to take part in the best of two worlds – we are owned by large energy company group, while BeGreen Sweden still is a small, young and entrepreneurial company. BeGreen’s business concept is to develop, ownd and operate solar parks.
We take a 360-degree responsibility – not only for the solar parks and the climate, but also for the landscape and to ensure that neighbors of our parks feel involved in our project development process.

A diversity of skills and backgrounds
We have an inclusive atmosphere in our offices and care deeply about our employees. We have 18 nationalities represented in our workforce today and we are proud to have some of the sharpest specialists in the industry!
We have grown from just 17 people in 2022, to over 100 today, and have no intention of slowing down.
BeGreen has been in Sweden since 2022. In the fall of 2024, we moved into newly renovated and modern premises in central Gothenburg, just a short distance from the central station.
We have three offices in two different countries – Denmark and Sweden. We see ourselves as one company and we work together across the borders every day.
Collaboration across boarders
BeGreen has grown rapidly and we strive to create a pleasant and inclusive work environment as well as good cooperation across office boundaries. Every year we organize Team Days with different themes, with both professional and social elements.
We also have a Cultural Exchange Program, where all employees who have a business purpose for their exchange, can travel to work from another office to learn more about both the business and the local culture.
